Eva Marie Green's Obituary
Eva Marie Green, age 98, passed away Saturday evening, August 28, 2010. Eva was born in Hart, MI on May 12, 1912 to Nicholas and Josephine (Stein) Schaner. She moved to Muskegon in 1933 and on February 27, 1935 married Mr. Vincent Green, he preceded her in death in 1984, she then married Mr. Ivan T. Green in 1992 and he preceded her in death in 2000. Eva was formerly employed at Mercy Hospital, was a former member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, a current member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church and the Catholic Daughters of the Americas. She is survived by: two sons, Howard Green of Muskegon and Thomas (Judee) Green of Clancy, MT; five daughters, JoAnn (Lee) Middlecamp of N. Muskegon, Barbara (Calvin) Bennett of Twin Lake, Gerri Green-Shineldecker of Twin Lake, Marilyn (Robert) Forton of Norton Shores and Mary Lou (Larry) Johnson of Homosassa, FL; sister, Florence Mason of Muskegon; special friends, Roger, Jane and Lucille Missimer; 20 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by: a grandson, Shannon Francis; two sons-in-law, Robert Houtman and Burt Shineldecker; a daughter-in-law, Betty Green and her special friend, Harold Missimer. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held, 10:00 A.M., Thursday, September 2, 2010 at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church with Fr. Michael Olson presiding. Visitation will be held at:

Wednesday, 2-4 with the Rosary at 3:30 P.M. and 6-8 P.M Wednesday evening. She will be laid to rest in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Memorial Contributions: Hospice of Michigan.
