Eveline Eva Hodges' Obituary
Eveline Eva Hodges, age 89, passed away in Muskegon, MI, on Saturday, October 11, 2025. She was born in Nestomitz, Germany, to Josef and Elizabeth (Palme) Krug on August 29, 1936.
Eva loved spending time outdoors, especially gardening, camping, and fishing. Christmas was her favorite time of year, and she greatly enjoyed decorating the house and entertaining people over the holidays. She enjoyed reading, spending time at home, and shopping. She was a strong-willed individual with a deep love for her mother and father, and she will be missed by those who knew her.
Eva will be lovingly remembered by her brother, Peter (Gerda) Krug, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Daniel Hodges, as well as two brothers, Gerhard and Willie Krug.
A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held for Eva at 2:00 PM on Thursday, October 16, 2025, at The Sytsema Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 737 Apple Ave, Muskegon, MI, 49442.
