Mrs Evelyn Mildred Frein's Obituary
Mrs. Evelyn Mildred Frein, age 85, passed away Wednesday afternoon, June 27, 2012. Evelyn was born December 8, 1926 in Grand Rapids, MI to Melvin and Anna (Cooper) Whitney. Evelyn was a graduate of Muskegon High School and had worked at Anaconda early in her life. On August 31, 1945 she married John William Frein Sr. and he preceded her in death on March 28, 2008. She had enjoyed working with ceramics, pottery and playing bingo. Most of all Evelyn loved spending time with her family, and especially her grandchildren. She is survived by her sons, John W. (Bonnie) Frein Jr. of Norton Shores and Ronald (Julie Sasse) Frein of Sanford, MI; 5 grandchildren, Kristen, Jesse, Karly, Kyle and Heidi; 4 great grandchildren, Ryland, Jolie, Zuzu, and Kai; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband John, Evelyn was preceded in death by a sister, Helen Wawee. Private family services will be held. Interment will be in Restlawn Cemetery.
