Evelyn M. Gauthier's Obituary
Evelyn M. Gauthier, age 89, passed away on Sunday, September 2, 2018 at a local hospital. She was born to Michael and Marie (Belka) Spytma in Muskegon. Evelyn was a member of Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church and she took part in the Ladies Guild. Evelyn enjoyed playing cards, raking leaves, watching sports on TV and fishing. In 1950, she married Leonard Gauthier and he preceded her in death on July 16, 1982. SURVIVORS include Pam (Steve) DeWall, Lynette (Bob) Hartman, Pat (Vince) Blake and Joe (Cheryle) Gauthier; 7 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; brother, Joseph Spytma and sister, Eleanor Galant. She was preceded in death by her son, Paul Allen and 5 sisters and 3 brothers. MASS of CHRISTIAN BURIAL will take place at 11:00 AM, Thursday, September 6, 2018 at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church (451 Getty St.) with Rev. Fr. Matthew J. Barnum preceding. VISITATION with the family will be one hour prior to the service. MEMORIALS can be directed to Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church or St. Judes Children’s Research Hospital. Burial will take place at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
