Evelyn Gomery's Obituary
Mrs. E. Jean Gomery, age 75, passed away Monday evening, February 28, 2005 at her home. She was born August 4, 1929 to Albert and Leona (Bott) Yarranton in Muskegon, and was a life resident. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Jean had worked as a waitress at Lakos, the Dog House Saloon, and the Mona Lake Boat Club. SURVIVORS include 1 daughter, Linda (Mike) Konczyk-Wilbern of Muskegon; 1 grandson, Phil Konczyk of Muskegon; 1 sister, Mary (Bob) Hill of Muskegon; several special nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; 1 son-in-law, Hank Konczyk; a brother, Al Yarranton; and a sister, Joan Robinson. The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at 10:00 AM Friday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will take place at St. Mary’s Cemetery. VISITATION at The Walburn Chapel, Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc.,(231) 759-8565 will be from 2-4 & 6-8 PM Thursday, with a Scripture Service at 6:00 PM.
