It’s as if no time had passed in the 40+ years since Niecey and I had a real pow wow. We just picked up where we left off. Talking with her no holds barred, about anything and everything is what I’ll miss most. I’m so grateful that God gave us an opportunity to reconnect. She stirred up memories that made us laugh so hard we cried and emotions that left me feeling lifted long after we’d hung up. I’ll miss her forever.

Evelyn and my sister were so close that sometimes you couldn't tell them apart. Living on Jefferson Street with Evelyn family made them closer, Her smile would lite up the neighborhood..I will miss being her second big sister.
