Evelyn Klukos' Obituary
Evelyn Klukos, age 92, of Agnew, MI passed into the loving arms of Jesus Christ on Sunday, June 30, 2019. She was born April 17, 1927, in West Olive, MI to Peter and Anna (Bacic) Kelava, and she married Henry Klukos, Sr. on May 2, 1947, in Grand Haven. He preceded her in death on October 22, 1996.
Evelyn was a member of St. Patrick – St. Anthony Catholic Church. She enjoyed taking care of her family, knitting, playing cards, scrabble, and cooking.
Evelyn is lovingly remembered by her daughter, Sandy (Bob) Huff; five sons: Henry Klukos, Jr., Dan Klukos, Jerry (Gail) Klukos, Warren (Debbie) Klukos, and Samuel “Sam” (Stacey) Klukos; ten grandchildren: Amy (Cam) Feenstra, Scott (Staci) Klukos, Jerry (Karyn) Klukos, Jr., Alexa Buitendyk, Dena (Jeff) Dunn, David (Tina) Scott, and Carrie (Jason) VanSlooten, Bob (Rhonda) Huff Jr., Michele (George) Harvey, Craig (Jodie) Huff; twelve great-grandchildren: Dakota Feenstra, Caylee Feenstra, Zack Feenstra, Connor Klukos, Emma Klukos, Jude Klukos, Cees Klukos, Teia Klukos, Justin Stout, Jonathon Stout, Ryan VanSlooten, and Nina Pierce; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister, Florence Bakale, and three brothers, Frank, John and Peter Kelava.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:00 Noon on Monday, July 8, 2019, at St. Patrick – St. Anthony Catholic Church with Rev. Charles Schwartz officiating. Friends may meet the family one hour prior to the mass at church. Memorial contributions to Hospice of North Ottawa Community are appreciated.
