I was lucky enough to enjoy two complete summers together with Evelyn and Ken back in the 90s. Since then, each time we met again, it felt like no time had passed. We could be together for hours enjoying a cup of coffee and talking about what we were going to do next day, or looking at the pond with no need to say a single word. It was magic.
They taught me the value of just being present, together with the people you love, and share every minute you spend together (nowadays many gurus teach these things, but they already mastered it decades ago).
I miss you both.

When I think of your Mom she always was so joyful and easy to be around. We were so lucky to have such beautiful loving Mothers. I’m sorry I won’t be able to be at the funeral I’m in North Carolina. But I will be with you in spirit. May God bless you all during this
