My mom suffered a massive stroke which left her with little patience and made it hard to find ways to keep her occupied. One night, we visited with Evelyn, Harley, and Sham, at their house. While we sat outside around a fire, Harley sang and my Mom was caught up by it all. That memory stayed with her for a long time and it will stay with me even longer.
Evelyn was one of those rare people on this planet and I was lucky to have gotten to know her and lucky to call Sham my friend.
Rest well, sweet lady. You will be remembered.
