Evelyn L. Kann-Yule's Obituary
Mrs. Evelyn L. Yule, age 93, passed away Thursday morning, December 2, 2010. She was born August 26, 1917 in Crosby, raised in Minot, North Dakota to Percy and Eva (Jones) Benest. On October 4, 1941, she married Bernard “Bill” Kann in Muskegon and he preceded her in death on September 1, 1973. She then married William “Bill” Yule in Plymouth, IN on December 9, 1983 and he also preceded her in death on December 13, 2006. Mrs. Yule was a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church and was a life member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary Post 7729. She loved flowers and feeding the birds, loved her computer, and traveling. Most of all, she loved her family. SURVIVORS include 4 children, Kathy (Tom) Tuttle, Cindy (Harry) Skok, Jan (Harry) Ames, Jack (Penny) Kann all of Muskegon; 2 step-children, Gay (Chip) Saunders of North Carolina, Roger (Susie) Yule of South Haven; 20 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; 17 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Beverly Sorensen of Antioch, IL; and many nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her granddaughter, Theresa “Teri” Keller and 2 brothers, Jack and Donald Benest. THE FUNERAL LITURGY will be celebrated 10:00 AM Saturday at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church with the Rev. Fr. Anthony Britto presiding. Burial will take place in Egelston Twp. Cemetery. VISITATION with the family will be from 6-8 PM today at
