Evelyn Pearl Sells' Obituary
Mrs. Evelyn P. Sells, age 86, passed away Monday, November 23, 2009 at the Poppen Residence. She was born February 7, 1923 in Muskegon to George M. and Nora R. (Andersen) Hansen. She married Adrian Koch, who preceded her in death during WWII. She married Glen E. Sells in Muskegon on August 6, 1955. He preceded her in death on January 4, 1976. Evelyn is survived by her children, Bruce (Susan) Sells of Norton Shores, Barry (Deborah) Sells of Twin Lake, Mark Sells of Muskegon and Gail (Greg) Wood of Roosevelt Park; 7 grandchildren and 1 great-granddaughter; 3 brothers, Laurin Hansen, Harland (Joyce) Hansen and Leonard (Mary) Hansen. She was also preceded in death by 2 sisters, Eleanor Poe and Florence Hansen; 2 brothers, Robert and Palmer Hansen. Evelyn was a life long member of Olivet Evangelical Free Church, 6790 S. Harvey St., where the FUNERAL SERVICE will be held Friday, 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Craig Cramblet officiating. She will be laid to rest in Lakeside Cemetery. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service at the church. MEMORIAL contributions may be made to Olivet Evangelical Free Church or Harbor Hospice.
