Everette Gordon Anderson's Obituary
Everette Gordon Anderson, age 91, passed away Tuesday, July 11, 2023, in Grand Haven, MI. He was born November 28, 1931, in Muskegon, MI, to Everette D. and Kathryn (DeWitt) Anderson. He attended Grand Haven High School and that is where he would meet his future wife, Muriel Rebentisch. They were married on July 3, 1954, and blessed to have just celebrated 69 wonderful years together. Everette worked for 40 years as a truck driver at National Products Display, in Grand Haven, MI.
Everette enjoyed boating and took the time to pull his kids down the river on water skis. He also loved to go camping. He and Muriel even had the opportunity to take their fifth wheel on a long road trip throughout the United States and experience various campgrounds across the nation. He also loved cars and working on them. One of his prize possessions was a 1965 Chevy Chevell 2-door wagon, a car his son, Douglas, had before he passed. Everette and Muriel would take the car to car shows and they participated every year in the Scott Flahive Memorial Cruise. Everette loved his family and was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather.
Everette will be dearly missed by his wife, Muriel; daughter, Kathy Anderson; and grandchildren, Drew (Pretty Priya) Buikema and Ryan Buikema. He was preceded in death by his parents and son, Douglas.
