Ezra H. Tice's Obituary
Mr. Ezra H. Tice, age 78, passed away Thursday, October 5, 2017 in Muskegon. He was born on June 3, 1939 to Howard and Sarah (Knight) Tice and was a resident of the Muskegon area most of his life. Ezra proudly served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps. On December 18, 1975, he married Mary Ann Ozga in Grand Haven and had worked at Varney’s Automotive for over 20 years. Ezra was a volunteer for the Red Cross and enjoyed doing the blood drives for the Amish. He also enjoyed computer games, Western movies, reading, good food and driving, but foremost was always the time spent with his family. SURVIVORS include his children: Mary K. Barnhard, Charles E. (Karen) Parnell and Teresa J. Doyle; 7 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings: Beverly, Barbara and Eroda Tice. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 40 years, Mary Ann; son, Robert E. Parnell II; brother, Stanley and his sister, Sandy Tice. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held 11 A.M. Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at The Sytsema Chapel, 737 Apple Ave., (231) 726-5210 with Rev. Karl Smith officiating. VISITATION will be held one hour prior to the service.
