Fannie K. VanderWall's Obituary
Fannie K. VanderWall, age 87, of Ferrysburg passed away Friday, September 16, 2005, at her home. She was born April 9, 1918, to Thys and Winnie (Yonker) Westhoff in Ferrysburg; and she married Leslie VanderWall on December 14, 1944 in Ferrysburg. He preceded her in death August 9, 1983.
Fannie had been a Ferrysburg resident all of her life and was a member of Christ Community Church. She enjoyed arts and crafts, baking and craft shows.
Survivors include her daughter; Joann (Robert) Harderwijk of West Olive, Sons; Thomas (Sarah) VanderWall and Steven VanderWall both of Ferrysburg. 3 grandchildren; Thomas (Meghan) VanderWall Jr., Jacqueline VanderWall, Peggy (Chris) Hoisington, 5 great grandchildren; Thomas Johnson, Andrew VanderWall, Laura Jane VanderWall Jonathan Hoisington and Abby Miller. 2 sisters-in-law, Ruth Westhoff of Grand Haven, Gertrude VanderWall of Spring Lake and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother William Westhoff and granddaughters, Jeannie and Jamie VanderWall.
A funeral service for Fannie VanderWall will be held 3:00 p.m.
Monday at Christ Community Church in Spring Lake. Friends may meet the family 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday at VanZantwick Bartels Kammeraad funeral home in Spring Lake and Monday 1 hour prior to the service at church.
