Felicia Lynelle Starling
November 17, 1968 - August 3, 2024
A graduate of MHHS, class of 1987, Felicia was actively involved in the Band, Choir, and participated in various school coronation events and talent shows, where she delivered a memorable rendition of the Billie Holiday classic "Good Morning Heartache," as reinterpreted by Freddie Jackson.
She was born to Halton C. Starling and Bonnie M. Dantzler. Felicia accepted Christ at a young age, was baptized, and attended Greater Harvest Missionary Baptist Church, where she served on the junior usher board and participated in the choir.
She is preceded in death by her paternal and maternal grandparents, her mother Bonnie Marie, and her brothers, Daryl and Cedric.
Felicia is survived by her father, Halton C. Starling, Jan Lavassaur; sisters, Xavier, Dionne, LaShawnda, and Kimberly; special cousin, Michelle; bonus sisters, Victoria, Terina, and Teresa; brothers, Christopher, Ricky, and Jarrod; best friends, Kesa, Wanda, Pookie, special friend, Dennis, and little Lola; along with a multitude of family and friends. Felicia dedicated 30 years to a career in healthcare, possessing a heart of gold and the ability to bring laughter to those around her. She was a genuinely kind and loving individual, a true social butterfly with an angelic voice who embraced life to the fullest. Felicia, you were the most wonderful sister anyone could wish for, and you will forever remain in our hearts.

A memorial service will be held at Great Lakes Kingdom Ministry, located at 32 E. Forest Ave., Muskegon, MI 49442, on September 7, 2024, at 2 PM. Catering will be provided by Corine's Cakes & Catering.
