Felicia C. Fitzpatrick's Obituary
Mrs. Felicia C. (Wawrzyniak) Fitzpatrick, age 95, passed away Sunday, October 9, 2011 at Day Spring Assisted Living Residence. She was born April 27, 1916 in Pullman, IL, to Joseph and Marie (Janowski) Wawrzyniak and lived most of her life in Muskegon. On September 16, 1939, she married LaVern J. Fitzpatrick and he preceded her in death in 1995. She worked 8 years as a sales clerk for K-Mart Stores. She was a member of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church. She was devoted to her family, especially her 3 generations of grandchildren. SURVIVORS include her children, Theodore (Mary) Fitzpatrick of Taylor, Michael (Lynda) Fitzpatrick of Muskegon, Ronald Fitzpatrick of Taylor, Diane Fitzpatrick of Muskegon; 6 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren; and 1 brother, James Wawrzyniak of Muskegon. MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL will be celebrated 12:00 PM Monday, October 17, 2011, in Marian Chapel at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church with the Rev. Fr. John “Jack” Lagoe as celebrant. INTERMENT will take place at St. Mary’s Cemetery. VISITATION will be one hour prior to the Mass at the church where the Rosary will be prayed at 11:15 AM Monday.
