Fermine L. "Faye" McComb's Obituary
Fermine L. “Faye” McComb, age 90, passed away early Wednesday morning, May 29, 2019. She was born October 5, 1928 in Grand Rapids, MI to Henry “Ray” and Fermine “Delores” (Coon) Richards. Faye and her family made Muskegon home in the 1930’s. On June 16, 1951, she married Douglas McComb in Muskegon, MI. Together they cherished 60 years of marriage. Douglas preceded her in death on September 8, 2011. She started attending First Congregational Church in 1945 and there she remained a faithful member. She was also a member of the Eastern Star and the Red Hat Society. She also enjoyed sewing and gardening, but one of her main interests was genealogy. She is survived by her three children, Elizabeth “Ann” (John) Brown, William McComb, and Mary (Rick) Fisher; four grandchildren, Jennifer (Andy) Tallman, Robert (Heidi) Brown, Bethany (Ryan) Davidson, and Megan Fisher; 8 great-grandchildren, Katie, Christopher, Nicholas, Josie, Audrey, Ian, Cole, and Avery. She was preceded in death by her parents. There are no services at this time. The family would like to give a special thanks to Harbor Hospice and The Sanctuary at the Oaks.
