Flo was certainly a special person and I was privileged to have spent several decades garage-saleing with her. I can still see the twinkle in her eye as she would say, “Do you think we will find any treasures today?” always looking for that special something for family and friends. Flo was a wonderfully caring woman to all she met. Her smile was always ready- she cared for so many people. I remember being at her house often and what a loving wife and mother she was and later a dear grandmother and great-grandmother-- what a blessing to all her knew her. She now joins Joe to treasure their many memories. Peace to all of you- her family and friends as you treasure so many fond memories. I have fond memories of Flo every Sunday morning back in my days at Vic's. She was the sweetest woman and I loved seeing her and catching up on the week's events. She was a very special lady who although I have been gone from there for sometime, still remember vividly. I can't believe we were just talking about our parents, and even though they are older it is still hard to see them go. So sorry I did not make it to the funeral, but I was there in heart and mind. We are moving my mom and dad into the rest home, and my mom has just told me that she wants to go to her heavenly Father. I know even though this is so hard I am sooo grateful for parents that showed us the true meaning of life. Your Mom not only blessed my life, but also my kids. For that I am eternally grateful!!! I am so saddened to hear of the loss of your amazing mother. She was a truly magnificent woman who raised a termendous family. We have all shared many fun times over many years whether it be a church, around town, or just being together.
