Florence Elaine Carlson's Obituary
Mrs. Florence Elaine Carlson, age 94, passed away on Wednesday, April 24, 2024 in Spring Lake, Michigan. She was born in Muskegon on December 11, 1929 to Louis and Edith (Gustafson) Scholtz. On September 28, 1951 Florence married Ronald Carlson in Muskegon and they enjoyed 65 years of marriage. She was a lifetime member of Forest Park Covenant Church. Florence enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family. She especially enjoyed attending, along with her husband Ron, all of the grandchildren’s events. Florence is survived by her three sons, Gary (Joan) Carlson, Wayne (Lois) Carlson, and Dale (Ruth) Carlson; nine grandchildren, Carrie (David) Clark, Kristin (Robert) Keisling, Kevin Carlson, Nathanael (Jenna) Carlson, Christina (Mario) Segura, Lyndel (Travis) Hunt, Leah (Jonny) Morehouse, Andrew (Kailee) Carlson, and Kathryn (Hunter) Rogers; and ten great-grandchildren. Florence was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald, and her parents. Her FUNERAL SERVICE will be held 11:00 AM Friday, May 3, 2024 at Forest Park Covenant Church (3815 Henry St., Norton Shores, MI 49441) with Rev. Larry Bush officiating. VISITATION will be one hour prior to her service. Burial will be in Restlawn Cemetery.
