Florence E. Olsen's Obituary
Mrs. Florence E. Olsen, age 91, passed away on Monday, September 23, 2013. She was born on March 15, 1922 to Einar and Martha (Holt) Larsen in Buffalo, NY. She was also a member of the Vikings Lodge. Prior to 1981 she was the former owner along with her first husband, Erwin of Lorenz Hardware. Florence was preceded in death by her husbands, Erwin Lorenz in 1982 and Winfred Olsen in 1992. SURVIVORS include 3 children, Sally (Jerry) Jones of Muskegon; Barbara (Joseph) Legatz of Grand Haven and Edward (Vicki) Lorenz of Bloomington, IL; 8 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by 3 brothers and 2 sisters. FUNERAL SERVICE will be held 11:00AM Friday, September 27, 2013 at The Walburn Chapel 1547 W. Sherman Blvd. 231-759-8565 with Pastor John Matthews officiating. VISITATION with the family will be 5-8 PM Thursday and one hour prior to the service. Burial will take place at Mona View Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to the Vikings Scholarship Fund or Harbor Hospice.
