Mrs. Florence I. Rasmussen's Obituary
Mrs. Florence I. Rasmussen, 91, passed away Monday afternoon, May 9, 2016 in Muskegon. She was born October 7, 1924 to Charles and Vera (Wulcan) Lake in Grand Rapids, and lived most of her life in Grand Rapids and White Cloud before moving to the Muskegon area. Florence had worked in the food service department at Ferris State University for 21 years before retiring. She was preceded in death by her husband Julius on October 13, 1992. SURVIVORS include 3 children, Julie (Gerald) Mattson, David (Ruth Denbroeder) Rasmussen and Brian (Linda) Rasmussen; 9 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by 1 great-grandchild, Mackenzie; 3 sisters, Alice Olson, Dorothy VanDyke and Ruth Dells.
