Florence E. "Flo" Meyers' Obituary
Mrs. Florence E. “Flo” Meyers, age 81, went to be with her Lord early Saturday morning, June 16, 2007, in Muskegon. She was born June 3, 1926 in Detroit, MI to Harold & Dorothy (Webber) Foley and has resided in the Muskegon area the past 60 years. Flo had worked in Accounts Payable and Billing for GTE for 11 years prior to her retirement in 1985. She was a member of Allen Avenue Christian Reformed Church. Flo enjoyed spending time with her family and bird watching (especially hummingbirds) with her dog Benji at her side. On May 18, 1946 she married Raymond H. Meyers and he preceded her in death on November 22, 1990. SURVIVORS include 5 children, James (Diane) Meyers and Barbara (Craig) Pitts of Muskegon, Nancy (Herman) Myers of Huntsville, TX, David Meyers of Wyoming, MI and Lori (Rick) Seaver of Montague; 10 grandchildren, Terri (Dave) Tchorzynski, Lindsey Knoll, Amanda (Jason) Moore, Stephanie Pitts, Shannon Tapanila, Trina Tapanila, Thompson (Beth) Myers, Brandon (Lindsey) Seaver, Jamie (Ryan) DeShazo, Stephanie (Matt) Nienhouse and 5 great grandchildren, Steven Wilks, Blaine Myers, Barrett Myers, Aaliyah Moore and Austin DeShazo.. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Eleanore Hubble in 1997. SERVICES will be 11 AM Wednesday at Allen Ave. Christian Reformed Church with Pastor Mike Borgert officiating. Burial will be in Sunrise Memorial Gardens. VISITATION with Flo’s family will be 7-9PM Tuesday at
