Florette G. Rabe's Obituary
Florette Rabe (Serene) entered our Savior’s arms on December 10, 2023. Born Florette Whelpley to Wilmont and Florette on January 23, 1930. She is survived by her children: Charles (Pamela) Serene and Penny (Al) DeYoung; and many grandchildren. She spent her adult life as a nurse and enjoyed sewing, gardening, traveling, painting, and crocheting hats for preemies at the hospital. She was preceded in death by her daughter Linda (Ray) Lathrop, son Glenn (Deb) Serene, and many brothers and sisters. A family service will be held at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to The Sytsema Chapel of Sytsema Funeral and Cremation Services, 737 E. Apple Ave., Muskegon, MI 49442.
