Floyd Robert Gee Sr.'s Obituary
Floyd Robert Gee Sr., age 73, passed away Wednesday, November 18, 2020. Born December 8, 1946 in Muskegon to Lenora (Bates) and Harold Gee Sr, he graduated from Orchard View H.S. He served in the US Navy for 6 years, then worked as an Engineer for Sealed Power and Hilite International. Floyd's passions included travel, hunting, fishing, camping and time with his close friends and family. He was happy doing anything if it involved his favorite people. Floyd married Jeannie (Mack) and was a devoted husband until her death in 2009. He was lucky to find love again with his partner Kathy VanPopring who survives him. He is also survived by his children Donna (Al), Wendy (Dave), Bob, Tracey (Wes) and Bill (Candy); his brother Vern (Cheryl) Brown, Harold (Lynn), Mark (Vicky) Brown and sister Sandy; Grandchildren Nikki, Kailin, Desiree, Emma and Riley and several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was proceeded in death by his mother Lenora, his fathers Harold Gee Sr. and Harry Brown, brother Fred and sister Pam (Brown) DeLong. There will be a private family service with a larger celebration of life taking place at a later date. Memorial contributions in Floyd's name can be made to the N. Muskegon VFW.
