Mr. Ford A Bigelow Jr.'s Obituary
Mr. Ford A “Bud” Bigelow, Jr., age 80, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, June 8, 2017. He was born on December 2, 1936 to Ford and Beatrice (Gordeau) Bigelow in Newberry, MI. Bud married the former Cheryl Kroeze on February 1, 1957 and they spent 60 wonderful years together. He worked in appliance service and construction and served in the United States Marine Corps Reserves. Bud was a member of Forest Park Covenant Church and attended for a number of years. Bud always enjoyed spending time with his family and will be missed by his wife, Cheryl; daughters, Cheri (Bradly) Fett and Shelley (Bruce) Todd; sons, Jeffrey (Kimberley) Bigelow and Jason Bigelow; adoring 7 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren; sister, Linda (Denny) Emans; and several nieces and nephews. Bud was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Donald Bigelow; and sisters, Sondra and Darlene Bigelow. A Celebration of Life will be held at 11AM on Thursday, June 15 at Forest Park Covenant Church (3815 Henry St, Norton Shores). Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the service from 10AM-11AM. Memorial contributions in Bud’s name may be made to Harbor Hospice Foundation. The family would like to thank Dr. Harriman and the extraordinary staff at Poppen House for their wonderful care of Bud.
