I met Forrest for the first time in 2008. He was the long lost cousin of my dad. My dad never knew his dad but we finally found his family in 2007. My dad's sister Phyllis held a family reunion in 2008 so he could meet most of his family and cousin Forrest was there with his accordion. I loved talking with Forrest and we would communicate over the years via letter and over the phone. He was eager to share the story of my dad's family My dad also loved to talk with Forrest. He was a special person.. I will dearly miss him. May he rest in peace.
