Fran Petroski's Obituary
Mrs. Fran Petroski, age 82, died Sunday, January 21, 2007 in Muskegon. She was born January 23, 1924 in Muskegon to Peter and Josephine (Mazur) Glomb, and had resided in the area all of her life. Mrs. Petroski was a member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church. On June 27, 1942 she married Frederick “Fritz” Petroski in Muskegon, and he preceded her in death on May 2, 2006. SURVIVORS included 4 children, Joyce (Glen) Casebolt of Twin Lake, Donald Petroski, Dawn (Ron) Clausen, and Joni (Robert) Jarosik all of Muskegon; 12 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; 1 brother, Paul (Joyce) Glomb of Nunica; 3 sisters-in-law; and special friend, KiKi. Mrs. Petroski was also preceded in death by 9 siblings. THE MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL will be 11 AM Wednesday at St. Michael’s Catholic Church. VISITATION with the family will be 7-9 PM Tuesday (this evening) at The Walburn Chapel, Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 1547 W. Sherman Blvd. 231-759-8565. Burial will take place in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
