Frances M. Stafford's Obituary
Frances M. Stafford, age 91, passed away Wednesday, December 17, 2025 at her home. She was born November 10, 1934 in Dyer County, TN to Robert “Boone” and Margaret (Crowell) Goodman. Frances graduated from Muskegon High School. On October 26, 1950, she married Billy H. Stafford, Sr. in Muskegon and he preceded her in death on July 5, 1998. Frances worked as a shipping clerk for MasterTag and retired in 2003 after 17 years of service. She was a 55-year member of Faith Baptist Church where she volunteered in the nursery and as secretary. Family was Frances’ first priority and she retired to help babysit her great grandkids which she did just until a few years ago. Survivors include 3 sons, Jerry (Micki) Stafford, Billy (Chris) Stafford Jr, Barry (Carrie) Stafford; 12 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Stafford, Sr; 1 son, Bobby Stafford; and 1 grandson, Chad Stafford. A Funeral Service will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, December 27, 2025 at Faith Baptist Church, 3593 Whitehall Road, Muskegon, MI 49445, with Pastor James Swieringa officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the church. Interment will take place at Fruitland Township Cemetery.
