Mr. Francis Joseph "Frank" Tejchma's Obituary
Mr. Francis Joseph “Frank” Tejchma, age 71, passed away Monday, November 26, 2012 to be with his Lord and Savior. He was born December 13, 1940 in Muskegon to Joseph and Lillian (Skruch) Tejchma and always considered Muskegon to be home. He and his family were blessed to live in other places returning frequently to Muskegon. Frank is a 1958 Muskegon Catholic Central High School Alumni. On June 3, 1961, he married his high school sweetheart, former Camille A. Chandonnet in Muskegon and she survives him. He worked in international sales for Teledyne Continental Motors and Clarke Floor Machines retiring from Teledyne after 25 + years in 1999. Frank was an active member of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church and was a 3rd degree member of the Knights of Columbus Council #706 where he built lasting friendships. Frank was an avid supporter of Muskegon Catholic Central, especially the football program. SURVIVORS include his wife, Camille; 3 daughters, Deanna (Mike) McGowan of Kentwood, Debra Garzelloni of Muskegon, Denise (Paul) Sigourney of Kentwood; 4 grandchildren, Michele and Daniele McGowan and Michael and Anna Garzelloni; 3 brothers, Richard (Marlene) Tejchma, Donald (Cheryl) Tejchma, Larry (Shelley) Tejchma; his in-laws, Joan (H. George) Phillips, Ronald (Gail) Chandonnet, Nancy Chandonnet, Karen (Art) Lambert, Dennis (Marilyn) Chandonnet; and 2 generations of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother- and sister-in-law, Roger & Gloria Chandonnet. MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL will be celebrated 2:00 PM Friday, November 30, 2012 at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church with the Rev. Fr. Philip P. Salmonowicz as celebrant. ENTOMBMENT will take place at St. Mary’s Cemetery. VISITATION will be held 4-8 PM Thursday at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey Street, (231) 798-1100. A Scripture Service and eulogy will be held at 7:00 PM Thursday. Visitation will also be held one hour prior to the Mass, 1-2 PM Friday at the church.
