Francis G. "Frank" Humy Jr.'s Obituary
Mr. Francis G.  Humy Jr. age 91,  passed away Sunday afternoon, March 14, 2010, at the Harbor Hospice Poppen Residence.  He was born April 27, 1918 in Muskegon Hts. to Frank and Margaret (Mikulai) Humy.  Francis served his country proudly in the U.S. Army during WWII.  He then worked for 36 years at the Lakey Foundry, and later drove bus for the Orchard View School System.  On January 8, 1946, Frank married the former Mary J. Novoselick and she preceded him in death on March 17, 1975.  He enjoyed fishing and his memberships at the American Legion Merritt Lamb Post #9, Tatra Hall and the National Slovak Society.  Francis was a founding and lifetime member of the Mona Lake Boat Club where he often worked bingo and other special events.  He is survived by his daughter, Barb (David) Anderson of Muskegon; 2 grandchildren, Todd (Tina) Anderson, and Michelle (Chuck Finch) Anderson; 5 great grandchildren, Brittany, Blake, Erick, Levi, and MacKenzie; a sister, Viola (Humy) Hubler; and many nieces and nephews.  Francis was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Steven in 1987; and sister, Virginia Czarney in 1980.  A FUNERAL SERVICE will be held 11AM Thursday, March 18, 2010 at
