Frank George Diepen's Obituary
Frank George Diepen, age 68, passed away Sunday, September 29, 2024, with his loving wife by his side. He was born November 1, 1955 to Jack and Maureen Bauer Diepen. Frank worked as a union carpenter for many years. He retired in April 2022. Frank loved being outdoors working in the yard or garage doing anything to keep his and his wife’s home beautiful. Frank was a very kind giving man always there to help others. He was a big U of M fan with lots of U of M memorabilia. On April 8, 2016, he married the former Dorothy “Dody” Sischo in Muskegon, MI. Dody survives him along with stepsons Kevin, Randy and Dwayne and one stepdaughter, Kari; daughter, Nicole Diepen; many deeply loved grandchildren and great-grandchildren; stepmother, Ellie; sisters, Wendy and Billie. He was preceded in death by his father, Jack and brother Jack and best fur friends, Sam, Emma and Oscar who is still alive and screaming for his daddy. A Memorial Celebration of Frank’s Life will be held 2-4 PM Saturday, October 12, 2024 at Bridge to Life Ministries – The Spira Conference Center, 17149 Van Wagoner Road, Spring Lake, MI 49456 where a luncheon will be served. Memorial Contributions may be given to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Arrangements handled by The Lee Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 6291 Harvey St, Norton Shores, MI 49444.
