Frank R. Ostradick's Obituary
Mr. Frank R. Ostradick, age 82, passed away Tuesday afternoon, July 7, 2015, at Mercy Hospital. Frank was born January 19, 1933 in Muskegon Heights to Theodore and Teresa (Kozel) Ostradick and had been a life resident of the area. Frank was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War; and retired as an Inspector from Sealed Power Corp. where he had been employed 38 years. He was a member of St. Francis deSales Church and of the Fruitport Gun Club. Frank’s first love was his family. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, skeet shooting, antiques and furniture restoration. On July 23, 1955 he married the former Sarah “Sally” A. Warner and she survives him along with their 4 children, Michael (Peggy) Ostradick of Overland Park, KS; Susan (Dan) Flory of Ada, MI; Kimberly (Scott) McCollum of Roosevelt Park and Linda (John) Campbell of Norton Shores; 10 grandchildren; 1 brother, Ted Ostradick of Spring Lake and 1 sister, Teresa Cwynar of Roosevelt Park. Frank was preceded in death by his parents, grandson, Forrest Campbell, brother, William and sisters, Lillian Edlund, Mary Cooper and Frances Butas. A MEMORIAL MASS will be celebrated 11:00 AM Saturday, July 11, 2015 at St. Francis deSales Church Marian Chapel, with the Rev. Fr. Philip P. Salmonowicz presiding. VISITATION with Frank’s family will be 6-8:00PM Friday at The Walburn Chapel, 1547 W. Sherman Blvd, Muskegon, MI 49441 (231) 759-8565, where The Rosary will be prayed at 7:30PM.
