Mr. Frank Edward Picklesimer's Obituary
Frank E. Picklesimer went to be with the Lord Wednesday, July 23, 2014. He died at home after a long illness. He was 87 years old. He was born January 2, 1927 in Pikeville, KY to Edward and June (Ford) Picklesimer. He was in the Navy in WWII in the Phillapines. He married Madge Mae Younce on September 12, 1947. They were married 60 years before her death in 2008. He was a long time employee at Continental motors and retired in 1989. He was a member of the Central Assembly of God Church. SURVIVORS include his 4 children, Arbie (Bud) LaBarge, Rick (Beanie) Pickelsimer, Randy (Cheryl) Picklesimer, and Jason Picklesimer; grandchildren, Michael, Brandy, Ricky, Jamie, Travis, Tara, Bethanie, Kayne and Robby; great grandchildren, Jordan, Christopher, Bryce and Haiden; Siblings, Billie Jean, Carol, Donald, Evelyn and Ann. He was preceded in death by his granddaughter Terri Lee Pickelsimer; brothers, Homer and Pete; and sister Sarah. A FUNERAL SERVICE will be held on Saturday July 26, 2014 at Central Assembly of God Church 896 Home Street at 2pm. VISITATION will be held on Friday from 5-8 at The Sytsema Chapel 737 Apple Ave 231-726-5210. Interment will take place following the service at Sunrise Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions can be made to Central Assembly of God Church Building Fund.
