Frank Carl Leslie's Obituary
Mr. Frank Carl Leslie, age 73, passed away Saturday morning, October 7, 2006 at his home. He was born February 10, 1933 in Muskegon to Basil and Eugenia (Krawczyk) Leslie and lived his entire life in the area. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served during the Korean War. Prior to his retirement, he was the owner and operator of Leslie Second Hand Store for 25 years. Prior to that, he worked 12 years for Shaw Box Crane. On April 5, 1962, he married the former Grace L. Wood in Muskegon and she survives him, along with 3 children, Dianne (Glen) Postema of Hesperia, James Rinard of Jackson, and Randall (Carol) Leslie of Shelby; 6 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. A FUNERAL SERVICE will be held 1:00 PM Tuesday, October 10, 2006 at The Sytsema Chapel of Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc., 737 Apple Avenue, (231) 726-5210, with the Rev. John H. Brown officiating. INTERMENT will take place at Mona View Cemetery. VISITATION with Frank’s family will be one hour prior to the service, 12-1 PM Tuesday.
