Frank E. Forrest's Obituary
Mr. Frank E. Forrest, age 83, passed away Tuesday, July 27, 2004 at a local nursing home. He was born August 28, 1920 to Charles and Minnie (Dickman) Forrest and was a life resident of Muskegon. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII and was a survivor of Normandy Omaha Beach. He was a member of the DAV – Wood Tazelaar Chapter 11. Prior to his retirement, he worked as an inspector for Brunswick Corp. for over 40 years. On February 21, 1946, he married the former Florence E. Henry and she preceded him in death on February 6, 2000. SURVIVORS include 2 sisters, Betty (Al) Swiftney of Grand Haven, Pat (Alex) Jozsa of Roosevelt Park; special family, Jerry and Rinda Tucker and their family of Indiana; and 3 generations of nieces and nephews. A FUNERAL SERVICE will be held 1:00 PM Friday, July 30, 2004 at the Sytsema Funeral Home, 737 Apple Avenue, (231) 726-5210. INTERMENT will take place at Sunrise Memorial Gardens. VISITATION with Mr. Forrest’s family will be 4-7 PM Thursday and one hour prior to the service, 12-1 PM Friday at the funeral home. MEMORIAL CONTRIBUTIONS may be made to the American Cancer Society.
