Frank E. Sherburn's Obituary
Mr. Frank E. Sherburn, age 85, passed away Wednesday evening, June 2, 2010 in Muskegon. He was born March 12, 1925 in Muskegon, and spent his childhood in Scottville before returning to the Muskegon area during WWII. He had owned Sherburn Screen Printing and Signs before retiring, was a member of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, the church choir, and the Barber Shoppers. Mr. Sherburn was also an accomplished artist in this area. On September 6, 1947 he married Kathleen P. Gokey in Muskegon. SURVIVORS include his best friend and spouse Kathleen; 4 children, Gregory (Dena) Sherburn of Birmingham, MI, Tom Sherburn of Norton Shores, Steve Sherburn of Norton Shores, Patty (Jim) Siewert of Muskegon; 10 grandchildren, Adam Sherburn, Jordan (Andrew) Myers, Evan Sherburn, Joseph, Kaitlyn, and Samuel Sherburn, Christopher and Jacob Sherburn, Andrea Mathews, and Kurtis Siewert; 1 great-grandchild, Madalynn Heeren; 1 brother, Dale Sherburn of N. Muskegon; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, and 1 brother, Marshall Sherburn. The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at 11:00 AM Saturday at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, with the Rev. Fr. Michael Olson presiding. Visitation with the family will be held in Marian Chapel 1 hour prior to the service.
