Frank M. Hansen, Jr.'s Obituary
Loving Husband and Father Frank M. Hansen, Jr., 84, passed away Saturday morning, January 16, 2010 at his residence with family at his side. Born July 2, 1925 in Muskegon to Frank M. Sr. and Agnes (DeBlake) Hansen, he was a life resident of the area. He married the former Betty A. Slager on March 29, 1947 in Muskegon. Mr. Hansen had been employed by Teledyne Continental Motors Corp. for 37 years before retiring in 1987, and was a US Army Air Corps veteran of World War II. SURVIVORS include his wife, Betty; three daughters: Kathy J. Hansen of Auburn Hills, MI, Ruth A. (Robert) VanDongen of Hudsonville, and Patricia L. (Nick) Lawlor of Thornton, CO; and three grandchildren: Nicole and Kelly Lawlor and Becky (Dan) Lott. His parents and a sister, Thelma, predeceased him. FUNERAL SERVICES for Mr. Hansen will be held 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, January 20, 2010 at The Lee Chapel, Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc., 6291 S. Harvey St., Norton Shores, MI 49444 (231)-798-1100 with Pastor Bill Rudd officiating and interment in Norton Cemetery. VISITATION with the family will be 6 to 8 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home. MEMORIAL CONTRIBUTIONS may be made to the Muskegon County Veterans Trust Fund in memory of Mr. Hansen.
