Frank N. Huston's Obituary
Mr. Frank N. Huston, age 85, passed away Monday, September 27, 2010 at Condell Medical Center in Libertyville, IL. He was born April 24, 1925 in Branch, MI to Frank and Mary (Moby) Huston. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and U.S. Navy having served in WWII and the Korean War. He worked over 25 years as a supervisor for Ball Corp. and later worked in production at Aluminum Mills. He was an elder with the Little River Band of Ottawa Indians. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Lou (Fowler) Serres-Huston in 1989, brother, Victor and sisters, Florence and Iva. SURVIVORS include his sister, Fran (Jim) Bott of Lansing, MI; son, David (Margie) Serres of Waconda, IL; his daughter, Connie (William) Kroening of Vernon Hills, IL; 4 grandchildren, Justin Kroening, Steven (Julie) Serres, Nancy (Ryan) Kuester, and Sasha Serres; 5 great-grandchildren, Grace, Riley, Keely, April, and Jack; numerous friends and family members in Michigan, including special great-niece, Amber (Nate) Sowa and her children, Onyx, Collin and Patience. A FUNERAL SERVICE will be held 10:00 AM Saturday, October 2, 2010 at The Lee Chapel, Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 6291 S. Harvey Street(231) 798-1100 with the Rev. John H. Brown officiating. Military Honors will be offered by the Muskegon County Council of Veterans. VISITATION with Frank’s family will be 4-8 PM Friday. INTERMENT will be held in McCumber Cemetery, Mason County, MI.
