Frankie was my 2nd cousin but what a joy it was to get his letters. He would tell me stories about him and my dad when they were little and how my dad would get in trouble. So funny. He would write me 12 page letters. Oh how I will miss him even tho I had not seen him in years. He sent me some paintings and I treasure them. They will hand in my Indiana home forever. I am sorry to say that I didn't see much of my uncle Frank during his later years, but he was always in my thoughts and I can say that I do have many fond memories of him and my cousin Mary Ann.
It was always fun to go to their house and hear him tell his funny stories and have him give you a grand tour of his infamous garden. He always kept the very best candy in his house and in his Barbershop too, because he had a sweet tooth himself...and he always
shared with us kids! He could make me laugh. He was a good old guy and I will always cherish my thoughts and memories

I'm sorry to hear about Uncle Frank, but I'm happy to see that he had such good friends. I remember many times visiting the house with my mom and hearing his great stories, and of course looking at how big his tomatoes were. He was a good man.
