Frederick C. Seidel's Obituary
Mr. Frederick C. Seidel, age 88, passed away Monday morning, September 19, 2011. He was born December 5, 1922 to Frederick F. and Mabel E. (Jackle) Seidel in Waterbury, Connecticut. Frederick served as a sergeant in the United States Army WWII. After the war he worked for the International Refugee Organization, and helped rebuild a war torn Europe. He earned a BA in Business at the University of Connecticut, which gave him several different employment opportunities before he decided to move to the Muskegon area in 1978. In Muskegon, he was employed at C.W.C. until he retired in 1990. Mr. Seidel belonged to the Wine Tasters Guild, and loved studying about and sharing a bottle of wine and food with friends. On June 16, 1956 he married Elaine K. Klies in Waterbury, CT, and she preceded him in death on December 15, 1994. SURVIVORS include 2 children, Karla Ann Seidel and husband Russell Loxterman of Winona, MN, Kurt Seidel of Los Angeles, CA; 2 grandsons, Paul and Ryan Loxterman of Winona, MN; 1 brother, Ronald (Katherine) Seidel of Tarpon Springs, FL; special friends, Brenda and Keith Endelman of N.
