Frederick J. "Fritz" Petroski's Obituary
Mr. Frederick J. “Fritz” Petroski, age 84, died Tuesday, May 2, 2006 in Muskegon. He was born on January 15, 1922 to Stanley and Louise (Kutas) Petroski, and had resided in the area all of his life. Fritz had worked for Kaydon Corporation for 30 years, before retiring in 1984. He was a member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church, and had served in the U.S. Army. On June 27, 1942, he married the former Frances Glomb, and she survives him along with 4 children, Joyce (Glen) Casebolt of Twin Lake, Donald Petroski, Dawn (Ron) Clausen, and Joni (Robert) Jarosik, all of Muskegon; 12 grandchildren; 8 great grandsons; and 1 sister, Joan Jawor of Muskegon. Fritz was preceded in death by his parents, 1 brother, and 3 sisters. THE MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL will be 11 AM Thursday at St. Michael’s Catholic Church. VISITATION with the family will be 1 hour prior to the service, from 10-11 AM. Burial will take place in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Memorial Contributions to St. Michael’s Catholic Church would be appreciated.
