Fredrick L. Hutson's Obituary
Fredrick L. Hutson, age 81, passed away Tuesday, January 19, 2021. He was born October 19, 1939 in Big Rapids, MI to Walter and Ina (Place) Hutson. Fred was a U.S. Navy Veteran. He was employed at CWC Textron. Retired from Johnson Products, a division of Sealed Power Corporation in 1996 after 30 years. On July 22, 1961, he married Mary A. Sloan in Muskegon and she preceded him in death on November 25, 2012. Fred was a member of the Fruitport Eagles where he loved to sing karaoke and met many friends that shared the same passion for singing. He enjoyed hunting, especially with his grandson Matthew. Fred and Mary loved riding motorcycles and made many trips throughout the United States. SURVIVORS include his daughter, Tina Hutson; 4 grandchildren: Brandy (Mark), Matt (Kayleigh), Lovina (Andrew), and Lila (Justin); 10 great-grandchildren and a great-grandson on the way; 4 brothers: Dale (Connie), Butch (Donna), and Robin (Laura) Hutson, Raymond Eckheart; 3 sisters: Nina (Keith) Miller, Debbie (Edward) VanNett, and Terri (Jim) Weiss; brother-in-law, Lester Claire Sloan; many nieces and nephews. Fred was also preceded in death by a son, Fredrick Hutson Jr, in 1983; his parents; step-father, Lyndon Eckheart; sister, Mildred Hutson; and a step-brother, Robert C. Eckheart.
