Freida E. Miller's Obituary
Freida Esther Miller, age 91, of Spring Lake passed away Sunday, November 20, 2011 in Scottsdale, Arizona, at a Hospice care facility. She was born June 14, 1920, in Muskegon, to Walter and Clara (Baldwin) Johnson. She married John Miller on August 16, 1941, in Grand Haven, and he preceded her in death in 1998.
Freida was a member of the United Methodist Church of the Dunes, the Spring Lake Country Club, and the Spring Lake Yacht Club.
Freida is lovingly remembered by her sons, John Jr. (Janice) Miller of White Cloud, David (Alanna) Miller of Scottsdale, AZ, and Dan (Jane) Miller, of Spring Lake; six grandchildren: Annie Trace, Cynthia Appel, Kim Dufek, Jennifer Colvin, Amanda Dobroc, and Justin Miller; and 8 great-grandchildren.
A Memorial Service for Freida will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 5, 2012, at the VanZantwick Bartels Kammeraad Funeral Home in Grand Haven with Rev. Dennis Snyder officiating. Friends may meet the family one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will be in Spring Lake Cemetery.
