Frieda E. Anderson's Obituary
Mrs. Frieda E. Anderson, age 91, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, April 15, 2009 at the Grand Traverse Pavilion, in Traverse City with her family by her side. She was born February 3, 1918 in Muskegon to Frederick and Liesel (Obenfeltner) Steiner. She married Royce E. Anderson on April 10, 1943 in San Diego, CA. He preceded her in death on November 18, 1993. She is survived by 4 daughters, Dr. Karen Crawford of North Andover, MA, Kay (Michael) Gloden of Traverse City, MI, Kristine (Larry) Kluge of Royal Oak, MI and Kathleen (Jeff) Spencer of San Antonio, TX; 9 grandchildren, Elise (Bryan) Powell, Michelle (Christopher) Carr, Scott Gloden, Alison, Andrew (Sarah) and Joel Crawford, Elizabeth, Alexandra and Will Spencer; 6 great-grandchildren; also, several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by, her parents, 2 sisters, Marie Haggerty Uchida and Ann Craker, and her brother, Fred Steiner. Frieda had amazing energy and was dedicated to her family, friends and neighbors and was always willing to help. The FUNERAL SERVICE will be held, Saturday, 3:00 p.m. at

Pastor Robert Beyer officiating. Visitation will begin 1 hour prior the service. She will be laid to rest in Norton Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer’s Association or the Muskegon Rescue Mission.
