Frieda E. Gould-Lewis' Obituary
Mrs. Frieda E. Gould-Lewis, age 75, died Saturday, February 28, 2004 in Montague. She was born on November 23, 1928 in Muskegon to John & Elizabeth (Schutter) Noordhof, and had resided in the area all of her life. Mrs. Gould-Lewis was a former member of Forest Homes Reformed Church, Hope Reformed Church, and attended Daybreak at Fifth Reformed Church. She first married Paul W. Gould on January 17, 1946, and he preceded her in death on April 22, 1976. Mrs. Gould-Lewis then married Robert C. Lewis on June 26, 1993, and he survives her along with 3 children, Janice (Thomas) Hamilton of Montague, Paula Gould of Muskegon, and Debra (George) Brewer of Muskegon; 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren; 4 step-children, Robert (Sue) Lewis of Mt. Pleasant, Renee (Brad) Vanderlaan of Hart, Rachel Star of Montague, and Steven Lewis of Mattawan, MI; 5 step-grandchildren and 2 step-great granddaughters . Mrs. Gould-Lewis was also preceded in death by her parents; and 2 brothers, Ira and Derk Noordhof. SERVICES will be 1 PM Tuesday at Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 737 Apple Ave. 231-726-5210 with Mr. Jim Tanis officiating. VISITATION with the family will be 7-9PM Monday and 12-1 PM Tuesday. Burial will take place in Sunrise Memorial Gardens. Memorial Contributions to Daybreak at Fifth Reformed Church and Hospice of Muskegon-Oceana would be appreciated.
