Bob was born in 1930, the youngest child of Edward and Catharine (Caragher) Hogan in Lima, NY. He graduated the top ten of his graduating class of 14 in 1947. He enlisted in the USAF and proudly served four years during the Korean Read Obituary

So very sorry for your loss. My sincerest condolences. Bob was my first boss and mentor at Muskegon Business College. He had an extraordinary influence on my life. Such a character! Whenever we had a rough day at work we would drop everything and go to House of Flavors for ice cream. Even though many, many years have passed, Bob never forgot my birthday. When he went home to upstate NY to visit, he used to joke about visiting Paris and London on the way. Many, Many cherished memories.

Dear Pat and family, I am so sorry for your loss. Bob, or as I always called him, "Hogan," was an incredible man. He believed in me when I was a very young employee, mentored me, and encouraged me to be a teacher. Without his support I would not be where I am today, teaching and loving teaching. He was a true educator at heart along with his many other accomplishments and contributions and a very sweet man. Unfortunately I will not be in Michigan next week, but please accept my condolences and know that I am praying for you.
