Mrs. Gabrielle L. Sorber's Obituary
Mrs. Gabrielle L. Sorber, age 48, passed away Monday, September 24, 2012 at her home in Spring Lake. She was a former resident of Caledonia, MI and grew up in Ovid, MI. Gabrielle was born at Hahn Air Force Base, Germany on March 14, 1964 to Raynold and Barbara (Bonczak) St. Pierre. She graduated from Northern Michigan University with a BA in Nursing and had worked as an R.N. at Sparrow Hospital and Butterworth Hospital before becoming a full time mom. Gabrielle loved and enjoyed her kids, boating, her yorkie, Mia, and her bird, Bozo. On March 24, 1989, Gabrielle married Jon Sorber and he survives her along with 3 children, Christina Sorber, Austin Sorber, and Riley Sorber; her parents, Ray and Barbara St. Pierre; and 2 brothers, Marc St. Pierre and Eric (Lori) St. Pierre. A CELEBRATION OF GABRIELLE’S LIFE will be 1:00 PM Friday at
The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St., 231-798-1100 with Rev. Peter Yoshonis officiating. VISITATION will be 1 hour prior to the service.
