Gail Z. Anderson's Obituary
Gail Anderson, age 82, passed away Sunday, April 9, 2023 in Norton Shores. She was born on October 5, 1940 in Allegan, MI to Erba and Marguerite (Leffring) Younts. Gail was a longtime member of Muskegon Church of the Brethren, where she was a Board Member and member of their summer camp staff. She and her husband were active members of the Maycroft Square Tappers and the Michigan Square and Round Dance Association. Gail enjoyed gardening, baking pies and cookies, camping and crafts, along with collecting Angels. On October 1, 1960 she married Oscar Anderson and together they celebrated 48 years of marriage before he preceded her in death on April 28, 2009. SURVIVORS include two children, Alan (Mary) Anderson and LeElyn “Lee” (William) Hildebrand; son-in-law, Tony Grammar; 10 grandchildren, Brett Kunkel, Blake Kunkel, Bruce (Bridgette) Kunkel, Sarah (Andrew) Levandoski, RobiLyn Anderson, Michael (Alison) Anderson, Brianne (Cody) Hacker, Blair Kunkel, Elizabeth Anderson and Tony Grammar II, 3 great grandchildren, Tonya Anderson, Jayden Kunkel and Carson Hacker; and siblings, Lavonne Smith, Erba Younts, Danny Younts, Tami Morrow. Gail was also preceded in death by her daughter, LuAnne Grammar in 2022. A Memorial Gathering for Gail will be from 3-5PM Sunday, April 16, 2023 at The Lee Chapel Family Center of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 6291 S.
