Gail Marie Bazany's Obituary
Mrs. Gail Marie Bazany, age 72, passed away Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at her home in Spring Lake, Michigan. She was born in Detroit, Michigan on June 3, 1946 to Ralph and Marion (Christy) Vincent. Gail was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church. She enjoyed arts and crafts, cooking, and camping; most recently at Timberlake Resort and RV Club. Gail appreciated ethnic culture, especially the Native American culture. She also enjoyed nature and was an animal lover. Gail worked for Meijer for 33 years prior to her retirement in 2006. She will be remembered for her positive personality and her ability to brighten people’s day. On June 27, 1982, Gail married Ronald L. Bazany and he survives her along with five children, Christina (Tim) Lyons, Cyndi LaSitis, David (Leann) Bazany, Kevin (LaDon) Bazany, and Kara (Dave) Perry; 18 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Lois Jean Mize and Sandra Kay (Michael) Mastenbrook; many nieces and nephews; and her two dogs and two cats. She was preceded in death by her parents and one son, Daniel Sly. MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL will be 10:00 AM Saturday, October 27, 2018 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. David Gross presiding. VISITATION will be from 5-8 PM Friday, October 26, 2018 at The Spring Lake Chapel, 213 E. Savidge, 616-842-6100 and from 9-10 AM Saturday at church. In lieu of flowers, please consider St. Mary’s Food Pantry or the Harbor Hospice Foundation.
