Gail "Sue" Herald's Obituary
Gail “Sue” Herald passed away unexpectedly Monday, April 23, 2018. She was born November 13 in Chicago, IL to George and Clare (Coluccio) Daniels. On July 31, 1965, she married Don L. Herald in Muskegon. Sue had worked for the Muskegon Chronicle for many years and also in the pharmacy department at Meijer in the late 80’s. She loved being outdoors, taking walks on the beach, hiking, and going out west visiting the Grand Canyon and other National Parks. She also enjoyed playing Team Trivia and watching game shows on TV. SURVIVORS include her husband, Don; 3 children: Julie Herald, Kathy (Ben) Scheerer both of Denver, CO, Bob (Nicky) Herald of Muskegon; 2 grandchildren: Max and Emmie Scheerer; sister, Jill Daniels of Suttons Bay, MI; and sister-in-law, Darlene Homfeld. GRAVESIDE SERVICES will be held 2:00 PM Monday, April 30, 2018 at Laketon Twp. Cemetery, with Pastor John H. Brown officiating. VISITATION with the family will be from 2-4 PM Sunday, April 29, 2018 at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St., (231) 798-1100.
